Emma Barnsley Art

About Me

Hello, I'm Emma, a wildlife artist based in Sheffield with a passion for capturing the beauty of the natural world.

I've loved art for as long as I can remember. After studying art at college and university, I spent ten years working as a teaching assistant before following my dream of becoming a full-time artist in 2021.

Wildlife has always been at the heart of my work. Whether I'm painting British wildlife, vibrant tropical animals or peaceful landscapes, I aim to capture the colour, character and beauty of nature. I work in a range of mediums, including acrylics, oils, watercolour and gouache, choosing whichever best suits each piece.

Alongside my original paintings, I've also created large-scale wildlife murals and painted sculptures for public art trails, sharing my love of wildlife with the wider community.

Thank you for visiting my website. I hope my artwork brings a little of the wonder of nature into your home.
